In 1993, Yemi Akande obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) in
Linguistics & Nigerian Languages from the University of Ilorin,
Nigeria. Thereafter, in 1994 she went on a one year national
assignment (National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), a compulsory
national assignment for all graduates below the age of 30 ).
During this period, she served at Abia State Government House in
the Press and Protocol department.
In June 1995, Yemi was employed as a Public Relations Manager at
D’ROVANS Hotel (a five star hotel). During her service at
D’ROVANS, she attended many seminars and courses in Interior /
Exterior Architecture.
She joined Maocaso Nigeria Limited as the MD/CEO, a position she has held since 1998.
Mrs. Yemi Omolara Akande has over 7years of working experience in Interior/Exterior Architecture
and with this vast knowledge, she has been leading the company very well.
Under her leadership, MAOCASO have implemented many Government, Private Companies and
Individual projects successfully in Nigeria. Yemi is married and blessed with a princess, in her spare
time, she loves socializing and making friends.
